Evidence / Selected Work

What gets built when the problem is worth investigating.

These projects show how DCL defines a messy problem, experiments with the shape of a solution, and builds the system around it. They are evidence of actual work, not invented outcomes.

Local Discovery

YEGryday

A local discovery system for Edmonton

YEGryday explores how local businesses, markets, vendors, and places can be connected into a useful discovery system. It is a working example of defining a messy information problem and building the data and product structure around it.

Evidence / What is actually here

  • Business, market & vendor discovery
  • Verified Edmonton-owned business layer
  • City of Edmonton open data backbone

Design Platform

MyPlunk

An experimental AI-assisted room design system

MyPlunk explores a room-design problem through 2D planning, 3D visualization, and AI-assisted layout ideas. It demonstrates how an unusual idea can be explored through interface design, software, and AI rather than forced into a conventional workflow.

Evidence / What is actually here

  • 2D floor plan editor with collision detection
  • 3D visualization with realistic lighting
  • AI-powered layout suggestions
